This project has been developed in collaboration with two students of Brera. After a long and accurate research, focused immigration’s history, few crucial an recent issues have emerged. Indeed, quite relevant is the emergency of stateless individuals, who fled their homes seeking for a better future. Most of them lost their identity. As a result, they cannot enjoy any right granted by the law and they are seen as ghosts by the burocracy. Since we were born here, we have been witnessing to several immigrants landings. Consequently, we have a tight bond with this topic. Furthermore, we decided to pursue this topic, in order to abide to a moral need.The project revolves around photography installations in which the main character consists of a denied document, which both the origin and destination countries do not recognise.
